The municipal service of Civil Protection began in the 80s, within a plan of new creations of local groups and the municipal powers of the Calasparra City Council.
Management and infrastructure have been a goal throughout all this time in order to grow and improve the service.
The competencies and services provided are the following:
INFOMUR (Fire Prevention)
COPLA (Surveillance of river aquatic areas)
SANITARY (Support and management in municipal and private events)
PERMANENT TRAINING (Fire, rescue, first aid, communications etc)
PREVENTIVE (Sports, Cultural, Tourist, School, Other municipalities)

From the Municipal Civil Protection Service we encourage all the citizens of Calasparra to participate as active volunteer members to collaborate in emergency tasks. From here, we appreciate the work that all the volunteers have done during all these years and in an altruistic way.
